Penelope for mental health services is an easy to use integrated system that allows multiple providers, in a centralized office or multiple locations to record clinical service provision and bill for services provided.

Penelope’s flexible billing component allows you to bill clients or third party payers easily and according to defined business rules.  Self-pay clients can be charged a full fee or a subsidized rate (sliding scale, negotiated rate or pro bono).  Any number of third party payers from employers to Medicaid or private insurance can be setup in Penelope and invoices, CMS forms and the 837 professional claim can be generated with ease out of our system. Providers can easily track billable services and bill for any client charges and/ or both client and third party payer charges can be processed in a simple batch process.

Penelope’s flexible workflow features allow for centralized recording of referral and intake information, waitlist capabilities and criteria-based assignment to in-house or affiliates/consultant providers.  Scheduling can be done by administrative staff or by each provider for themselves. User-by-user authorized access to information can be easily configured to allow access to non-clinical aspects of the client record only, to restrict access to one’s own files etc.   Use an optional client referral entry kiosk that allows common referral sources to create a client profile with presenting issues and user-defined information without any other access to the database.

Use our template BPS assessment, care plan and progress notes or create your own.  Penelope’s custom documentation and survey features allow you to incorporate any number of clinical forms and outcomes evaluations and satisfaction surveys.  Penelope also allows you to centrally store external templates and forms that can be accessed from the client file and attach external files to the client record.
