Athena Software Joins the United Nations Global Compact

Athena Software (www.athenasoftware.net) joins the United Nations Global Compact to uphold environmental and social principles.

Athena Software joins the G8 Summit 2007 Heiligendamm in supporting the United Nations Global Compact to embrace and enact a set of core values in areas of human rights, labour standards, the environment and anti-corruption.

Dana Fox, Director of Business Development Athena Software said, ”We fully support the Global Compact initiative. We are excited to become part of a global movement that is working towards the ten principles as outlined by the United Nations. The Global Compact has become part of our strategy, culture and day to day operations.” Ban Ki-Moon Secretary General of the United Nations has remarked that ”Business practices rooted in universal values can bring social and economic gains.” Fox agreed, saying that, “Athena Software is working in compliance with the G8 Summit 2007 Heiligendamm Global Compact declaration and joins corporations worldwide in emerging nations and developing countries in the dissemination of this initiative.”
